University of Michigan – Ann Arbor

I recently graduated from University of Michigan with a B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. During my time there, I pursued an intentional interdisciplinary path as a pre-med student, spending years involved in biomedical research while also exploring the arts and social sciences to bring a deeper sense of humanity to my studies. In addition to academics, I worked as a Residential Advisor, where I supported students through their transition to college and helped them navigate academic, social, and extracurricular opportunities. These experiences strengthened my passion for mentorship and student development. Applying to college is no easy task. I know firsthand how overwhelming admissions can feel and how difficult it can be to discover the right path forward. I look forward to sharing my experiences and insights with students as they work toward achieving their goals with confidence and purpose.

Brown University

Hi there! My name is Ishaani, and I'm a MS4 at Brown's Alpert Medical School in the Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME), where I study Computational Biology. As I've read applications for Brown PLME, I especially feel confident advising BS/MD students, and providing insights related to extracurricular development and essay editing services. I've been working as a college advisor for 5+ years, and I look forward to supporting you all throughout the college admissions process!

Outside of class, I play in a jazz ensemble, conduct research on cancer outcomes, and advise and tutor fellow medical students.

University of California – Berkeley
Hi everyone! My name is Dovie! I'm originally from Alabama but I grew up in the Bay Area. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in American Studies with an emphasis in Education. (Go Bears!) While at Cal, I served as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the Black Recruitment and Retention Center and joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I have worked in education for over 10 years from tutoring/advising jobs to recruitment work for Cal to managing an Education & Careers department at a nonprofit. I love advising high school students and what I've learned over the years is that there are many pathways for students to achieve their academic goals. As an advisor, I enjoy helping students paint the full picture of themselves through their essays and assisting with career/major exploration. In my everyday life I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and reading. My latest read was "All About Love" by bell hooks which I highly recommend! I look forward to working with you to achieve your college goals!
