Excellent Support
The was designed to bolster our commitment to equity and accessibility in higher education. Each year, the program provides free, comprehensive admissions support to high school students with demonstrated financial need. Those students are often also first-generation college applicants and/or from historically underrepresented communities.
Each Scholar is matched with a primary advisor who provides dedicated support on all aspects of the admissions process. Throughout the year, the Scholar will work with their advisor to develop their essays, prepare for interviews, finalize their college list, and more. Scholars will also attend a series of webinars designed to guide them through every application milestone.
The Scholars Program is designed to help each student develop their Common Application or Coalition Application, as well as 1-2 school-specific supplements. However, we recognize that each student’s needs will vary, and we are committed to supporting the individual needs of each Scholar throughout their admissions journey.
For years, I thought applying to college would be too great an obstacle, as neither of my parents had attended college. However, with AIɫɫAdvisor, college feels real—and not just a dream—and minimizes the anxiety, fear, and doubt that the college application process traditionally brings. With the help of my advisor, whom I met with weekly, the milestone teams, and accessible virtual meetings for all AIɫɫAdvisor Scholars, I was able to learn more about the college application process and find pathways in which I could best tell my story.
I felt like everyone I met through AIɫɫAdvisor was fully committed to helping me pursue my ambitions through logical and strategic plans, and I’m honored to say that, in hindsight, I took advantage of the milestones available and the vast, supportive network to help me make my application and my dream of attending college a reality.
