I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in HCI and Artificial Intelligence. Throughout my college experience, I’ve earned both Dean’s List and Faculty Honors for academic excellence. My work bridges AI, software engineering, UX design, and product innovation, with experience building impactful technology solutions across various industries. In my professional and academic experience, I have designed AI-powered applications, created interactive user experiences, and contributed to projects that improved efficiency and accessibility. Beyond technical work, I am passionate about mentorship and education. I have led and supported technology-focused programs that empower students, particularly underrepresented groups in STEM, to develop coding skills and complete projects. I have worked with students pursuing Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, and AI-related fields to help them refine both their technical portfolios and their personal narratives for applications and interviews.

My mission as an advisor is to help students bring their unique story and technical strengths to life on paper, making the process of applying to college both strategic and inspiring. I believe in tailoring the approach to each student’s strengths while ensuring their college admissions journey feels empowering. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing pickleball, making pottery, and baking with friends!

As a full-time college counselor and the proud owner of a small independent counseling business, I get to live my passion every day: helping students navigate the exciting yet sometimes overwhelming world of college admissions. With over 25 years of experience in both high school and higher education settings, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with students, parents, and college representatives alike to create smooth and successful paths toward higher education. Currently, I’m thrilled to serve as a AIɫɫ Counselor at private high school in New Orleans, where I bring my expertise in every facet of the college application process. From crafting personalized essays to guiding families through campus visits and application timelines, I make sure each student feels confident and supported every step of the way. I even created a comprehensive 4-year college counseling curriculum that ensures students start strong and stay on track throughout their high school journey. Before this role, I spent an incredible 10 years at an all-boys high school as their AIɫɫ Placement Counselor, where I became known for my personalized approach and my knack for making the whole process feel less like a marathon and more like a sprint toward success. I also had the privilege of organizing large-scale college fairs and helping students with everything from resume building to strategic essay editing, not to mention writing highly effective letters of recommendation that helped students stand out. My career started in college admissions, where I managed application reading, transfer credit evaluations, and even planned recruitment events. These years in higher education gave me a behind-the-scenes look at how colleges make their decisions, knowledge I now bring to my counseling clients to give them a real edge.

Whether I’m leading a college tour for juniors, advocating for students in the admissions process, or brainstorming essay topics that showcase the unique strengths of each student, I’m all about making college admissions not just manageable, but exciting! My track record of successes speaks for itself, but at the end of the day, it's the students' growth and accomplishments that bring me the most joy.

Over the past decade, I've immersed myself in guiding college-bound students from across the country through the admissions process. With experience from institutions like the University of Delaware, University of Maryland AIɫɫ Park, and George Washington University, as well as working with Johns Hopkins School of Nursing at the graduate level, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education. My journey is fueled by a passion for fostering inclusivity and accessibility in higher education. Through workshops, outreach events, and personalized guidance, I empower students from diverse backgrounds to navigate the admissions maze with confidence. Working closely with the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by aspiring healthcare professionals and reinforced the importance of mentorship. As I reflect, I'm grateful for the relationships formed and lives touched. My dedication to empowering students remains steadfast, driven by the belief in the transformative impact of education and the boundless potential within every student.

Hi there! My name is Madeline Schloss and I am a former admission officer and college counselor. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and then earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The Ohio State University. After graduating, I worked on the international admission team at Ohio State and then at Northwestern University, supporting students through the application process, reviewing thousands of applications, and learning the ins and outs of the university admission landscape. I then switched sides of the desk, working as a college counselor at a high school in Guatemala, prior to joining the AIɫɫAdvisor.com team. Hello! My name is Kate (she/her) and I am so thrilled to be a part of your college search and application process. I hold an honors B.A. from St. Lawrence University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015. I majored in Government and double-minored in Education and African Studies. While in college, I worked as a campus ambassador/tour guide, studied abroad in Kenya, and served as the President of a community service organization focused on reducing food waste and fighting food insecurity on college campuses and in food deserts called the Campus Kitchens Project. After college, I spent two years working as an Admissions Counselor at Hiram AIɫɫ, a small liberal arts school in Northern Ohio, specializing in experiential learning. In 2018, I received my Master's in Education, with a concentration in Higher Education, from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. While completing this program, I worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Harvard Graduate School of Education Admissions Office, and served as an advisor to five university chapter of the Campus Kitchens Project. After receiving my Master's, I worked as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission at Northeastern University for 3 years. I evaluated over 3,000 applications per cycle, participated in committee evaluations (Early Decision, Early Action, Regular Decision), and oversaw both domestic and international recruitment territories. While in this role, I also participated in a number of college readiness workshops and informational panels. I was also involved with the Torch Scholars program, a scholarship program for historically underrepresented, low-income students. Currently, I work full-time as the Assistant Director of AIɫɫ Counseling at a preparatory school in Boston. I am excited to use my professional experience from a variety of institutions, as well as my academic training to help students find their perfect college match!
